When You Are Geographically Flexible

Assume you own a three unit apartment building. You are willing to accept property, provided the property is in your Iocal community. You have broadened the market for your three units by your willingness to accept property in your community. Your area preference will be somewhat of a limiting factor. If you would consider property anywhere in your county, there would be more takers. If you would consider property anywhere in the state, there would be even more takers, and for property anywhere in the country, many, many more takers. If you are offered income property some distance from where you reside, then it is necessary to locate suitable property management. There are real estate Agents who specialize in managing property for other people and do not engage in the typical brokerage functions of buying, selling and exchanging real estate.
